We're looking for a Plans to Operations Leader to join us at Joint Operational Meteorology and Oceanographic Centre (JOMOC) to help us make a difference to our planet.
As our JOMOC Land Air - Plans to Operations Leader, the job may be suitable for hybrid working, which is where an employee works part of the week in the office and part of the week from home. This is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement and the location advertised will be your contractual place of work.
Our opportunity is part time equivalent to 18.5 hours per week as part of a job share. We are highly likely to run this as 'week on - week off' although there may be some flexibility on this. Our people are at the heart of what we do and we'll do our best to agree a working pattern that works for everyone.
Whilst this is a temporary part time role until March 2026, there is potential for it to develop into a permanent full-time position should the vacancy arise and the incumbent agree to it. We will also look to create a reserve pool to fill future permanent or temporary vacancies that may arise over the next twelve months.
