About the Role - As MA24’s Associate Architect you will be helping to lead and develop the Architecture team, which currently consists of several RIBA architects, Technicians and Chartered Technologists. You will have opportunities to help develop the structure and direction of the department and will have input on any future recruitment needs.
As an Architecture Associate, you will support the Architecture Director in the day to day production of information and management of the team including mentoring where required.
This role will also work alongside Project Managers and Design Managers in the design, planning, and execution of various Engineering, Design and Construction projects, ensuring that they meet aesthetic, functional, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities -
* Lead and develop the Architecture team, consisting of RIBA architects, Technicians, and Chartered Technologists
* Support the Architecture Director in day-to-day production of information and team management
* Work alongside Project Managers and Design Managers in the design, planning, and execution of Engineering, Design, and Construction projects
* Work on innovative projects to provide successful delivery and innovation within technical industries
* Create, lead, and manage teams to deliver against the strategy set by Architectural Director
* Help develop necessary policies, procedures, and control systems
* Maintain effective communication with the Architectural Director and Engineering Director
* Monitor architectural project teams to ensure design standards are met
* Liaise, manage, and control sub design consultants
* Identify and develop relationships with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and external consultants
* Deliver pre-engineering/design management services if appropriate
* Undertake design reviews in line with company procedures
* Assist in developing the design program with operational teams
* Implement and review project design inputs, processes, and outputs
* Monitor compliance with CDM Regulations
* Assist in integrating sustainable design practices and materials into project plans
* Help maintain good standards regarding Wellbeing and Mental health within the department
Skills & Qualifications -
* Chartered Architect
* Capable with Revit
* Capable with AutoCAD
* Able to write Specifications using NBS Chorus system
* Experience with Design and Build
* Experience with High tech projects is preferred
* Good Technical and organizational ability
* Ability to multitask and prioritize
* Good interpersonal skills
* Able to mentor others
* Good knowledge of BREAMM, CDP, ISO etc. requirements
* Continuous professional growth by staying on top of any industry and legislation changes.
Preferred Skills - Experience in the pharmaceutical and / or life science sector
Pay range - £75,000 (dependent upon experience)
