Salary : £100 per day (increases possible according to performance) Start Date : ASAP What The Job Is All About Hawk-Eye provides medical and citing services to the United Rugby Championship in Wales; we’re looking for someone to join our team to help support our technology on-site. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of sports technology across major sporting events. You will be part of a dynamic team delivering world-class tech solutions, designed to make rugby safer, fairer and more engaging. Most fixtures take place on Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays, we will need you to be regularly available for Home games. In addition to URC, we also provide services to World Rugby, EPCR, RFU, WRU, IRFU, Premiership and the Commonwealth Games; you may get the opportunity to be involved in these other competitions. Key Responsibilities Installation and setup of Hawk-Eye technology on Match Day Conducting pre-match checks of the systems in accordance with standard procedures Liaising with host broadcasters on-site Liaising with and supporting URC Medical and Citing Staff with the operation of Hawk-Eye replay technology Monitoring hardware and software performances, being able to troubleshoot issues using your knowledge and working with our Remote Support team Taking full responsibility for our system on-site and represent our company on-site Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Technical background, comfortable with computer hardware and software Ideally with or studying for a university degree in science, technology, engineering or relevant equivalent experience Bright and enterprising with excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills Proactive, responsible attitude and ability to work on your own initiative Time management skills and ability to work in a high pressure, procedural, live broadcast environment Ability to liaise with clients and customers in a professional and approachable manner with attention to good communication.
