Content Developer for Medical Education - LMS 6-9 Month Contract - Inside IR35 (Umbrella/PAYE) Remote / Paddington My client who are a specialised technology company are looking to recruit a Content Developer for Medical Education LMS to join them on an initial 6-9 month contract, working with their team based in London, Paddington. Our client is looking for an experienced digital content developer, ideally with expertise within the medical education field, who will lead content development for our client's digital medical education platform for healthcare professionals. The role will execute the business unit strategy for digital medical education platform, by ensuring content is developed and delivered to plan. Roles and Responsibilities for the Content Developer for Medical Education: Strategy & Content Development Execute the business unit content strategy for the digital medical education platform, as developed by the medical education content task force Provide updates to the medical education content task force on content performance and metrics, to drive improvements in future content strategy. Stay ahead of digital learning trends, ensuring innovative and effective content delivery, and advising stakeholders within the company on best practices. Digital Medical Education Content Development and Management Transforms global educational content received from business education leads for the digital medical education platform, both using in-house content creation tools and by working with agency partners Adapts existing educational content into appropriate formats for the digital platform, as well as creating new content, including short, bite-sized and interactive education. Ensures clinical and educational impact, excellent user experience, accessibility and compliance of educational content. Collaborates with medical education leads and marketing to ensure that educational content meets clinical and business strategy. Oversees the required internal Medical, Regulatory and Legal review of content and any required amendments. Collaborates with the Digital Medical Education Platform Manager to ensure that content and the front page of the platform are regularly updated and stay exciting. Oversee the administration of the digital education content within the Learning Management System, including uploading, tagging and testing content. Communicates development and availability of digital education content to relevant stakeholders. Consider other digital technologies such as AI, AR/VR solutions within the digital educational offering. Support regional/local medical education leads in the development of local digital medical education content, by providing guidance and expertise. Perform routine market surveillance to ensure a differentiated educational offer while identifying new technologies or formats to include. Training and documentation Act as the internal expert in the LMS content creation tool (Absorb-Create) and provides necessary training to in-market Medical Education and Clinical employees who will develop digital content within a local market. Contribute to any required documentation on the LMS content creation tool, such as the Admin Handbook. Data-Driven Performance Optimization Use data insights to continuously improve content effectiveness and user engagement. Communicate metrics / KPIs from the LMS dashboard to drive the most effective educational content creation strategies within the business. Engagement & Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with Medical Education/Clinical Specialists and the Global Medical Education Digital Platform Manager. Partner with the Medical Education/Clinical Specialists to foster relationships with societies and academic institutions to enhance content credibility, working with the Global Medical Education Digital Platform Manager to ensure these strategies can be executed via the platform. Budget Management Manage budget and vendor contracts for digital education content creation Required standards Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and industry standards (e.g., FDA, EU MDR, AdvaMed, MedTech Europe), including ensuring that content published has been through the required internal Medical, Regulatory and Legal review process. Ensure content meets required accessibility standards Ensure content meet branding guidelines Skills/Experience for theContent Developer for Medical Education: Experience in digital content development, preferably within clinical or medical fields. Experience specifically in digital education content development, with a good understanding of learning technologies and pedagogical / instructional design principles. Experience of Learning Management Systems or Content Management Systems. Editing and writing skills. Soft Skills: Strong cross-functional collaboration skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management. Data-driven mindset with a passion for innovation in education. Creative and able to develop innovative content.
