The European Equipment and Fleet engineering team provides project engineering, product engineering and technical and operational support.
The Fleet Equipment Engineer will join the central EU IG organization and work with the existing Fleet Engineering team responsible for providing a broad range of distribution equipment and ongoing technical and operational support for all European business areas.
LOCATION: Basingstoke (UK) or Botlek (NL) or Tarragona (Spain)
EDUCATION: Bachelor and/or Master's engineering degree
EXPERIENCE: Experience with project engineering / fleet and distribution equipment / strong technical skills / communication with various stakeholders
CONTRACT: Permanent

As the Fleet Equipment Engineer, you will:
1. Provide Technical support for Fleet Distribution Equipment associated for Bulk and PG incl. new concepts like demountable chassis, etc.
2. Support on Assembled Equipment like Moffets, single mobile Cranes, and other related PG Transport related requests.
3. Develop new Design of chassis, distribution equipment by producing equipment specifications, P&IDs, design and product documentation in line with established Air Products standards and National regulations/codes & standards.
4. Provide Pan-European project management support of new build Fleet equipment.
5. Provide in-country start-up and commissioning support of new build equipment.
6. Develop initial maintenance plans for new and existing Fleet distribution equipment, in conjunction with local operating teams.
7. Provide support with new and existing vendor selection and technical approval to support the growth plans.
8. Work closely with local distribution department to ensure knowledge transfer.
9. Develop and review technical standards, training material and operating procedures for PG distribution equipment.
As the Fleet Equipment Engineer, you already are or have:
1. Bachelor and/or Master's engineering degree with significant relevant experience.
2. Some years' experience in project Engineering execution will be key.
3. Experience with pressurized vessels and technical Gases and their Hazards would be helpful.
4. Experience in Fleet and Distribution equipment is highly preferred.
5. Strong technical skills, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Cross-functional engineering experience with knowledge of project management and product engineering is preferred.
7. A self-starter with a results-oriented mind-set who will take ownership of multiple projects from inception to hand-over, working as part of a coordinated team.
8. A drive to completion employing a methodical and structured work approach.
9. Willing to travel throughout Europe - Driving licence is essential.
10. Language skills - proficiency in English, additional European Languages would be an advantage.
