Main Duties & Responsibilities
* To carry out commissioning on all Dextra lighting control systems.
* To travel to sites using company transport or public transport when required.
* To survey sites and carry out checks prior to commissioning when required.
* Identify faults and rectify luminaire wiring where necessary and work with a problem-solving approach.
* Liaise with other technical departments and report issues to Technical Services.
* Report details of each commissioning project and share this with internal technical departments on a regular basis.
* Investigate and report lighting control faults to the internal technical department and assist with rectification where necessary.
* Follow all Quality Control guidelines set by the Company.
* Follow the requirements of the Company’s ISO Procedure.
* Follow the Company’s Health and Safety Policy, work instructions & safe systems of work.
Post Requirements
* Professional, flexible and a pleasant personality whilst representing Dextra on sites.
* A degree of electrical competency is required.
* Clean UK driving licence.
* Able to work under pressure and on own initiative.
* Strong and assertive character.
* Good understanding of IT systems.
* Computer literate.
* Ability to write clear and concise post-visit reports.
* Willing to travel and occasionally stay in overnight accommodation.
* CSCS/ECS card holder.
* Ability to read and interpret technical guides/drawings.
* DBS Barring check.
