Senior Communications Consultant
12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Edinburgh (typically 2 days in the office per week, 3 from home)
Salary: A competitive salary from £35,120 - £52,680 depending on the experience you can bring

We're looking for two dynamic and experienced Senior Communications Consultants to join our Workplace and Customer Communications team.
In this role, you will plan and execute monthly communication activities, ensuring they align with our brand standards and customer promises. You will develop and deliver effective, compliant campaigns and projects, incorporating necessary changes and improvements. Additionally, you will measure, evaluate, and report on activities to ensure their effectiveness, manage activities within agreed budgets, and handle invoicing and purchasing processes efficiently. Ensuring all actions comply with regulatory and customer responsibilities and objectives is also a key part of this role.
As our Senior Communications Consultant, you will also be responsible for:
Event Management
* Attending external industry conferences and summits, ensuring our organisation is well represented by coordinating and managing the content being presented.
* Organising onsite events at workplace employers, engaging employees and showcasing our offerings.
Content and Campaign Management
* Leading email campaigns, website updates, and content creation to effectively communicate with various audiences.
* Working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure timely and impactful updates across digital platforms.
Campaign Delivery and Take-to-Market Initiatives
* Leading the end-to-end delivery of campaigns, ensuring clear messaging and timely execution across all channels.
* Developing and implementing take-to-market strategies to maximise the impact of new initiatives and campaigns.
Virtual Event Coordination
* Promoting virtual events, managing invitations, and overseeing attendee communications to ensure smooth execution.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
* Very good copywriting skills across all media, particularly strong in writing for digital media.
* Skills in managing campaigns, events (both in-person and virtual), and content creation.
* Very good brand knowledge, including design and tone of voice.
* Strong understanding of take-to-market strategies and campaign execution.
* Experience of working in a marketing communications role.
* Proven experience of writing marketing communications proposals/plans and identifying promotional opportunities.
* Experience of working within creative brand guidelines.
