Salary: £55,433 – £61,000
Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced service manager to lead a newly reformed family safeguarding service in the West Midlands.
About the role
As the service manager for family safeguarding, you will be responsible for managing the newly established family safeguarding service. Some of the key duties of the role will include:
o Line management of Team managers
o Responsible for recruitment of social workers and team managers
o Report directly to Heads of Service and Assistant directors
o Champion a restorative practice model across the service
About you
If you are a service manager or experienced team manager looking for a step up this could be the right role for you. Our client is looking for a strong people manager who can lead a service to ensure the best possible outcome for the children and families whilst putting the voice of the child at the centre of their approach. As a service manager you will need:
o SWE registration and a completed social work degree
o The right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence
o Significant post qualified experience within children and family services
o 3 years management experience as a minimum
o An understanding of the restorative practice model
