Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior nurse looking for their next step towards nursing management and leadership. We are looking for a highly motivated nurse leader to undertake the role of Ward Manager for INRU.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will have previous substantive experience at Band 6 or Band 7 level and possess experience within change management and managing a team. Excellent communication skills are essential and the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate and sustain new and innovative ways of working which facilitate developments in nursing practice.
You will have an extensive skill set in nursing management, excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering safe and effective care. You will be able to display supportive skills and an ability to nurture teams and develop the workforce to provide innovative, outstanding patient care.
The ability to lead, manage and direct a team efficiently and effectively is essential. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and committed to improving service delivery with a flexible approach to the needs of the service. This post provides an excellent career opportunity for someone who is clinically credible but wishes to further develop management and leadership skills.
