My client, is one of the UK's leading independent Planning and Development Consultancies, is looking for a Town Planner to join the dynamic team! Known for their expertise across a wide range of sectors - including residential, commercial, mixed-use, infrastructure, and regeneration projects - the company supports developers, landowners, and public sector clients in navigating complex planning systems and delivering sustainable, high-impact developments.
The Role as a Town Planner:
As a Town Planner, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering strategic planning advice, navigating complex applications, and guiding landmark projects from concept to approval.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing planning applications, appeals, and development proposals across a wide range of sectors.
* Preparing planning appraisals, feasibility studies, and policy reviews.
* Conducting site visits, client meetings, and engagement with local authorities.
* Building and maintaining client relationships, ensuring high levels of service and professionalism.
* Leading on smaller projects while supporting senior planners on large-scale, complex schemes.
What We're Looking for as a Town Planner:
* RTPI accredited degree.
* Previous years of planning experience.
* Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and regulations.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills - confident in preparing high-quality reports and presenting to clients and stakeholders.
* Full, clean driving licence.
