About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Group Operations Support Coordinator to join a dynamic and fast-paced team at the NEC. This 12-month fixed-term maternity cover role will support the busy Group Operations and Event Teams, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive administrative support for the Group Operations activities, including diary coordination and meeting management.
2. Oversee financial processes for work orders and invoices, supporting the FM contract and capital project management teams.
3. Manage safety management information such as Fire Risk Assessments and Safety Meeting details.
4. Maintain and oversee information systems, including Sharepoint sites, ensuring smooth data management.
5. Manage managers' diaries and meeting schedules, and track actions.
6. Support technical project meetings, assisting with administrative tasks and managing project details.
7. Raise purchase requisitions, check invoices, and ensure the correct authorisation processes are followed.
8. Coordinate ad-hoc projects with other departments.
Skills & Experience:
1. Strong administrative and coordination experience, ideally in a fast-paced, operations-heavy role.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) for document and diary management.
3. Familiarity with financial management and invoicing systems.
4. Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with a wide range of stakeholders.
5. Previous experience using management systems, ideally within the NEC environment or similar.
6. Experience in drafting reports, correspondence, and general administrative duties.

1. Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to complete financial, reference, and asylum & immigration checks upon joining.
