Main duties of the job
The postholder will be the responsible Service Owner for all online and offline experiences for our donors as well as systems supporting our internal marketing teams. The role will be expected to develop plans to manage and improve the end-to-end donor experience for the variety of engagement, services and products that make up that experience. Service Owner responsibility will cover the discovery and requirements definition on behalf of donors (through research) for services and products contributing to the donor experience. Service Owner responsibility will also cover the discovery and requirements definition on behalf of internal customers for the technology, systems and applications used by teams to support donor engagement and experience.You will set direction for the service owner team, ensure there is a clear scope for the work, and prioritise and align resources to deliver the organisations strategy for the end-to-end experience of our donors. You will play a key part in the updating of our marketing modernisation through upgrades and implementation of new technology and activities. You will ensure that we are drawing in a wide range of stakeholder views and use your skills to build relationships and influence core decision making. You will deputise for the Director as necessary.The post holder will demonstrate strong leadership as a member of the DX SMT.

1. Educated to Masters or equivalent experience in a relevant area such as marketing, plus additional senior-management experience in a related function.
2. Post Graduate level Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma or equivalent experience at a senior level.
3. Demonstrates commitment to own continued professional development (CPD)

4. Extensive experience in the marketing field, with significant experience in a senior position and managing a large budget
5. Demonstrated experience in constructing and implementing long and nearer-term strategic plans, incorporating multiple complex inputs.

8. Experienced across a breadth of key strategic marketing skills (customer experience, digital capability).
