HCL Tech’s Microsoft Business Applications Practice - (MBAP) is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM HR Lead Functional Consultant to join their award-winning and growing team.
You will work with the client business users to gather requirements and with MBAP’s internal team of Architects, Consultants, Developers, and Testers for the solution delivery.
The ideal candidate will have worked on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and AX implementation projects and will have good knowledge of implementation lifecycles from end-to-end. This person will be a confident communicator and a good co-ordinator whilst being able to handle stakeholders at all levels within an organisation. They will have experience of managing teams of consultants and will be used to owning elements of the functional design and delivery.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate and understand business processes and prepare detailed business requirements and process maps
2. Analyse client requirements and objectives to determine how software can best meet clients’ requirement and objectives
3. Convert Customer requirements to functional specifications and functional design documents
4. Configure, test, and demonstrate all aspects and processes within D365 HR
5. Participate in handling System Acceptance Testing, System Integration Testing, End User Training, UAT, Cutover and Go Live
6. Participate in the definition and configuration of data migration activities for the respective modules and understanding of the underlying data entities that make up the HR modules
7. Participate in the development of functional design documentation and technical specifications, unit and system test scripts, and deployment plans, perform SIT testing
8. Conduct functional testing of modifications and sub-processes during iterations
9. Design and develop D365 HR solutions for clients making best use of Standard functionality in each respective module
10. Work closely with clients and other team members to define, design, and align the business application to the business requirements
11. Manage and deliver small projects independently and can work productively un-monitored
12. Lead other consultants in delivering according to client expectations; take ownership of successful completion of deliverables and projects
13. Facilitate functional sessions and weekly status meetings with clients, including the ability to drive a client to decisions
14. Own project deliverables (status reports, documentation, test plans; take personal ownership of the success of deliverables and projects
15. Provide weekly status reporting to Solution Architect, Technical Architect, and Project Management
Skills and Experience:
1. Solid ERP and preferably D365 HR and AX 2012 functional experience
2. Experience working on key HR module areas
3. Experience on at least 3-4 end to end implementation projects and awareness typical implementation methodologies for Dynamics projects
4. Knowledge and experience of managing D365 Finance HR data migration
5. Excellent communication skills, along with good analysis and documentation skills
6. A positive and can-do approach
7. Experience working in a collaborative environment
8. Advanced use of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Visio
9. Ability to work remotely and on customer site; regular travel expected
10. Appropriate Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications
11. Experience using DevOps for tracking deliverables, risks, and issues
12. Complete knowledge on various supply chain module enquiry tools and reports
13. Have led a team to deliver a project module solution and deliverable
Qualifications:
MBA /M. Com/ B. Com / B.Tech / B.E or any other equivalent graduation from a reputed university.
Should have good hands-on experience on Dynamics AX 2012 with Dynamics 365 F&O and relevant HR domain expertise would be preferable.
