Job Title: Senior ECAD Librarian Description: As an ECAD Librarian on our PCB Design team, you will be responsible for the ECAD library used by Fluke's engineering teams. You will collaborate closely with electrical engineers, PCB designers and mechanical engineers located in the US, Europe and China to build the components they need for their designs. You will also be responsible to help automating and supporting the integration of our library with other internal tools. Responsibilities: - Create, maintain and update the ECAD library of schematic symbols, footprints, and 3D models. - Manage the component library and provide input on processes and standards to maintain accuracy and organization. - Create and validate library parts for compliance with industry and company standards. - Create and maintain documentation for standard library processes. - Collaborate with electrical engineers, PCB designers and mechanical engineers. Basic Qualifications: - 5 years of experience building and maintaining ECAD libraries. - Associate's degree (or higher) in electronics field or equivalent work experience. - File versioning in GitHub or another versioning system. - Experience with Cadence, Mentor or Altium schematics and PCB design products. - Good written and verbal communication skills in English. - Results oriented, with a mindset of a sense of urgency and ability to drive daily results. - Able to effectively work and support team members in multiple locations. - Able to work independently. Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of IPC standards (land pattern, naming convention, etc.) and their application. - Understanding of printed circuit board manufacturing standards. - Good understanding of DfA and DfF design principles. - Experience using PLM systems. - Python scripting knowledge. - Cadence automation in SKILL and/or TCL.
