Working for a specialist robotic packaging equipment company the Field Service Engineer will travel to client sites across the UK to perform reactive and preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment. Candidates must have excellent mechanical skills ideally with bagging, weighing and handling equipment experience.
The role:
Full-time based at client sites you will work with small operations to multinational blue chip companies.
Responsible for troubleshooting, technical support, preventive maintenance, and customer service.
Interacting with customers, engineers, and other staff to ensure efficient and effective resolution of issues.
Training on company equipment will be given
Saying out overnight up to 2 nights per week is a feature of this role
What's required:
Field Service experience and Technical Support skills
A relevant technical diploma or an engineering degree will be required
Experience of troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance
Good communication and customer facing skills able to project a good image for the company
Ability to work independently and as part of a team is prerequisite
Must have strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience working in the packaging or automation industry is an advantage
A Full UK Driving License is essential
