JOB TITLE: Quality Operator
LOCATION: Telford – Hortonwood
HOURS: 6-2, 2-10, 10-6. 5 days a week rotating shifts
Job Purpose:
The Quality Operator will be responsible for the quality inspection and packing specification of the laminated (foiled) product as assigned to them by the Shift Co-ordinator.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Carry our relevant quality checks / inspections on assigned products as required by the product quality plan.
2. Segregate all non-conforming products from good production.
3. Communicate information via the relevant communication channels.
4. Record all required information for checking / inspection operations as per company works instructions / procedures.
5. Alert relevant people to process and product concerns.
6. Agree and complete training and development requirements as determined by the Shift Co-ordinator and the training plan.
7. Safeguard property issued by the company.
8. Carry out continual visual quality inspections as determined by the product quality plan and procedure.
9. Perform specific quality Checks / Tests as determined by the product quality plan.
10. Pack laminated (foiled) products in accordance with the packing specification, as stated on the production schedule.
11. Ensure workplace is clean and tidy – all housekeeping procedures followed associated with tasks.
12. Transfer the knowledge and skills among the team (others).
13. Undertake reasonable duties as and when required.
14. Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
15. Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel in order to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
16. Represent the organisation in a positive way as to avoid the damage of corporate image or bringing the company into disrepute.

Key Experiences and Skills Required:
18. Basic level of numeracy and literacy.
