You will be joining an established utilities contractor based in the Birmingham area working on multi-utility schemes for high-profile clients. Having secured an additional £30m worth of work on top of their already healthy order book, they are looking to onboard a Commercial Administrator to join their team.
Your new role
As Commercial Administrator, you will be based in their Birmingham office and be responsible for, but not limited to:
1. Producing weekly/monthly financial costing reports
2. Assisting in the production of subcontractor payments and approvals
3. Providing administrative support to the commercial team
4. Issuing early warnings/claims to clients on a weekly basis
5. Attending weekly/monthly meetings with clients.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have:
6. Previous experience in a similar role within the Civil Engineering industry
7. Strong communication and organisational skills
8. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
