Purpose of Department/Team: The HR & Payroll Business Process Consultant will provide analysis of customer needs, participation in the design of business process requirements. This role will also translate business requirements into solution and will be responsible for leading the customer process alignment whilst protecting of standard template approach to process. The postholder will provide advice to existing clients, contribute to pre-sales activity and lead in the development of the HR/Payroll solution going forward. Primary Accountabilities and Deliverables: Deliver HR & Payroll consultancy services to clients, ensuring that project objectives are met in accordance with program, project management plan and strategies Provide leadership and direction to the organisation, contractors and customer teams on the business solution Provide leadership and direction to the development of HR and Payroll services delivered as part of the Agresso template solution for central and local government. Provide estimates as part of the RFC process for design and implementation efforts along with communicating status of issues and impacts with relevant client sponsors and process owners Assist in the analysis and documentation of as-is capabilities about business processes, people, technology, etc. and provide recommendations for change (where requested) where efficiencies may be achieved. Assist in the development and testing of new business processes (internal & client), capabilities and, as appropriate, supporting technologies Perform gap analysis to determine levels of ‘localisations’ and for project planning purposes Specify solutions in conjunction with the Technical Architect to specified customer & organisational business requirements. Perform application design activities, following through the required process (e.g. RFCs), that enhance the overall standard solution Involvement in UAT to determine & guide testing team on whether an issue is a defect or change to the initial alignment requirements.
