The role:
We are seeking to make an open-ended Pathway 3, Lecturer appointment in the area of Financial Technology (Fintech). The appointed candidate will contribute to our teaching and related administration associated with our MSc Financial Technology with Data Science (Fintech). You will take an active role in supporting the broader requirements of the school in discussion with the Head of School.
What will you be doing?
You will be expected to take an active role in providing high quality and innovative teaching and assessment in the School, which will include contributing to our MSc Financial Technology with Data Science (Fintech). You will work as part of a team and support colleagues in their teaching delivery and personal development. You will support your academic team leader in the running of your team.
You should apply if:
You will have a PhD in a related topic, a first degree in CS/Maths, and strong programming skills. You must be able to demonstrate leadership skills that allow you to work collaboratively with colleagues and have the ability to act as a role model to other staff. Some industry experience in the Fintech area would be desirable.
