EYFS Teaching Assistant:
Prospero Teaching are looking for a teaching assistant with experience in Early Years to join a lovely school near Lancaster. The successful candidate will have previous experience in Early Years and have a relevant qualification in Early Childhood.
Role Responsibilities:
* Assist in planning and delivering tailored learning activities for children.
* Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, both in and out of the classroom.
* Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Foster social and emotional development through positive interactions and activities.
* Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
Position Details:
* Location: Lancaster
* Position: EYFS TA
* Hours: 8am-4pm
* Type of Work: Temporary
* Full time/Part time: Full time only
* Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
* Start date: Jan 2025
* End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
* Relevant qualifications in early childhood education would be highly desirable
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold right to work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child-related references
