Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to present an exceptional opportunity for a PE teacher to join a lovely secondary school in the Avonmouth area. This position is available from January and will run until the end of the academic year, with the potential for extension!
Role Responsibilities:
Inspire a love for physical activity and healthy lifestyles by delivering outstanding PE lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
Develop and deliver lessons tailored to the diverse range of student needs and abilities, employing various teaching strategies.
Encourage active participation and foster positive attitudes toward physical education and personal well-being.
Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback, supporting their progress and development.
Facilitate effective communication with parents/guardians through parent-teacher meetings and school events.
Candidate Requirements:
Preferred possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or comparable teaching qualifications; experienced Sports Coaches will also be considered.
Specialization or significant experience in teaching PE across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Strong understanding of PE, coupled with a passion for promoting physical well-being and personal development.
Exceptional classroom management skills, creating a comprehensive and supportive learning environment.
Pay:
Competitive daily remuneration aligned with the pay scale, negotiable based on qualifications and experience. This would be a full duties role where you will be paid to scale from day 1 on a PAYE basis.
