We are seeking an experienced and motivated Ecommerce Marketing Manager to join our team. As our Ecommerce Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive online sales and improve the overall customer experience. If you have a passion for ecommerce and a proven track record of success in managing online platforms and brands, we want to hear from you.
This position offers lots of variety; one day you could be looking at products coming in for a specific brand, planning, promoting, and pushing the campaign strategy and another day you could be entirely focused on optimising the CRM system.
This role will require someone who is hardworking, up for a challenge and at times thick-skinned, but with this role comes a huge sense of ownership.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute ecommerce strategies to drive online sales and achieve revenue targets.
2. Responsible for strategy and implementation of a MarComms calendar.
3. Oversee all aspects of our two primary ecommerce websites, including content updates, product uploads, and page optimisation.
4. Implement and optimise user experience strategies to drive conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and enhance customer satisfaction and seamless user experience.
5. Craft a social media strategy which complements the overall strategic direction.
6. Utilise marketing automation tools to create personalised customer journeys, including automated workflows for abandoned cart recovery and post-purchase follow-ups.
7. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities within our sector.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement and IT, to develop and implement effective online marketing campaigns.
9. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyse data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for growth.
10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in ecommerce, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
11. Provide regular reports on ecommerce performance to senior management.
12. Coordinate with IT and web development teams to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure website functionality and security.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field preferred.
2. Minimum 3 years e-commerce or digital marketing experience.
3. Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, particularly WooCommerce.
4. Proficient in web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
5. Proficient with Klaviyo email marketing metrics and working with exterior brands to implement email marketing campaigns.
6. Experience from a multi-product sales channel background rather than service industry.
7. Commercial awareness, ideally with FMCG experience.
8. Understanding of product and e-commerce (home pages, landing pages).
About the Person:
1. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
2. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
3. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
4. A creative eye for visually appealing social media, newsletters and web pages.
5. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
6. Basic understanding of HTML / CSS desirable.
