Job Specification
As a Junior Legal Secretary in our Wills & Estates team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our solicitors and providing an excellent service to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and motivated individual looking to develop their career within the legal sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and formatting legal documents, correspondence, and forms.
* Managing diaries, scheduling meetings, and maintaining appointments.
* Liaising with clients, answering calls, and addressing queries professionally.
* Assisting with file management, including document filing (both electronic and paper-based).
* Processing incoming and outgoing mail.
* Supporting the team with administrative tasks to ensure smooth workflow.
* Undertaking any other ad hoc duties as required.
About you
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. You will have excellent communication and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. While prior experience in a legal or administrative role is desirable, it is not essential as full training will be provided.
Above all, you will have a positive attitude, a willingness to support the team, and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
