Be part of the team supporting our people, ensuring they are performing at their best As our HR Practitioner, you will provide support to the whole organisation ensuring we achieve business objectives and delivering an effective HR service. You’ll be proactively managing a variety of complex cases using HR databases, giving effective advice to first line supervisors on applying procedures such as attendance and performance. Our HR team work closely with a variety of stakeholders across the whole organisation, offering advice and guidance on employment law, policy, employee relations and performance management. This is a varied, rewarding, and innovative role. This role is offered as a Fixed Term Contract until 31 March 2026. What You’ll Be Doing Proactively looking at ways to improve the HR Services and optimise the efficiencies within the team Providing support and guidance to managers across the force in all areas of policy, procedure, and new initiatives Managing complex casework, providing advice to managers and employees The must haves Able to provide accurate and detailed advise to manage the needs and expectations of stakeholders Experience of day-to-day core HR activities, ensuring best practice, employee relations and performance Ability to conduct research and provide clear explanations of findings What’s in it for you?
