Job Description Are you an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in Master System Integration (MSI)? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you As a Technical Project Manager (MSI), you will be responsible for delivering large-scale MSI projects, ensuring seamless integration between Building Management Systems (BMS), lighting, security, CCTV, and other smart building technologies. You will act as the primary point of contact for key MSI projects, liaising with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure successful delivery. This flexible role will be primarily be project-based within Central London, where you will oversee design, documentation, and implementation of MSI solutions that exceed client expectations. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee MSI project scope and implementation. Work closely with main contractors, design teams, and clients to ensure all integration requirements are met. Produce and manage MSI documentation, including device schedules, interoperability matrices, and coordinated points lists. Ensure technical compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, and ISO 9001 Quality Control Standards. Develop and refine MSI design solutions, ensuring they align with client needs. Attend project handovers, design meetings, and on-site reviews. Source technical information from manufacturers and suppliers to support integration requirements. Identify and communicate potential design variations to project managers. Ensure all MSI design documentation is completed on time to support CAD, software development, and panel manufacturing. Manage project design hours efficiently to optimise profitability. Identify and support additional work opportunities, ensuring additional costs are claimed where appropriate. Submit weekly timesheets for job-costing and project tracking. Work closely with project managers, CAD engineers, and software engineers to align on project requirements. Provide technical guidance to design and engineering teams. Support and mentor less experienced engineers, helping them develop technical and project management skills. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Skills Required: Extensive experience managing large-scale MSI projects within the construction and smart building sectors. Strong working knowledge of common building systems, including BMS, lighting, CCTV, security, and access control. Experience working with building communication protocols such as BACnet, MQTT, and API interfaces. Proficiency in producing MSI documentation (e.g. schedules, interoperability matrices, and coordinated points lists). Understanding of IT networks and system topologies. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook. Relevant technical accreditations and qualifications. CSCS cardholder (or willingness to obtain one). Familiarity with cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Strong awareness of smart building technology trends and industry developments. What's in it for me?
