Job Description:
The Marina Centre provides an exciting range of activities for residents and visitors alike, including a leisure pool with two slides, a fun splash zone, clip and climb, an impressive fitness suite, exercise studios, and a sports hall. The centre also boasts an amazing café overlooking the beach, providing a focal point for the community.
As a Customer Service Assistant, you will welcome the community into the facility, whether they are seasoned gym-goers or making their first steps into the centre. We strive to provide a warm and friendly welcome to all.
Joining a friendly and supportive team, you will build your knowledge of the offerings at the centre so that you can share this with our users. No two days will be the same as you interact with a wide range of centre users. You will also have the opportunity to deliver our catering service from the combined reception café area. We offer full on-the-job training and career progression opportunities within the company to ensure you grow as we do.
If you want to progress further, we will support this through additional training, both formal and on-the-job. However, we also appreciate that not everyone wants to ‘move up the ladder,’ and that’s absolutely fine with us. What is really important is that you are happy in your work.

* Experience of serving customers in a face-to-face environment.
* Able to promote services and sell the different products that Freedom Leisure offers.
* The skill to establish key relationships swiftly and appropriately.
* High level of professionalism and integrity, enthusiasm, and motivation.
* Well-developed interpersonal skills, able to negotiate and persuade people both internally and externally.
* Highly organized with good attention to detail.
