As a Principal Dams and Reservoirs Engineer, you will play a key role in dams and reservoir engineering on transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic projects at home and abroad.
We specialise in all aspects of dams and reservoir engineering across sectors such as Water, Aviation, Energy, and Cities & Development. We deliver industry-leading engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. Opportunities are available in our offices in Epsom, Bristol, Swansea, Manchester, and Glasgow.
Your Purpose:
* Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant standards and codes, ensuring high quality.
* Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
* Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones.
* Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
* Maintain adherence to quality assurance standards in design.
What you can bring:
* Chartered Civil Engineer.
* Interest in developing into a Reservoir Supervising Engineer.
* Experience in leading multidisciplinary design delivery.
* Knowledge of hydraulic and geotechnical engineering related to dams and reservoirs.
* Understanding of UK design standards, including the Reservoirs Act.
