Bookkeeper (Hybrid, Full-time)
Location: Home based, Hybrid (Occasional Travel to Central London required)

Join a dynamic, boutique bakery coffee shop that is part of an international business rapidly expanding in the UK. We are looking for a trustworthy, highly organised Bookkeeper to oversee daily financial management, including bookkeeping, payroll, and HR administration, in a fast-paced and growing environment. If you are an experienced bookkeeper with attention to detail and a passion for numbers, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Bookkeeping:
1. Oversee and process supplier invoices, ensuring accurate allocation across shops and departments.
2. Manage suppliers, ensuring price updates and resolving invoice discrepancies.
3. Monitor multiple bank accounts, upload payments, and reconcile transactions.
4. Maintain accurate records for petty cash purchases and receipts.
Payroll & HR Administration:
1. Process payroll, verify accuracy, and liaise with accounts to resolve any payroll queries.
2. Manage employee onboarding, including checklists, contracts, and documentation.
3. Assist with payroll data analysis and generate trend reports for comparison across months.
4. Provide other HR/payroll administration support, incl. maintenance of employee records in an organised manner.
Other Responsibilities:
1. Extract and analyse Point of Sale (POS) data for reporting.
2. Provide accounting support to the Senior Management team for financial oversight and reporting.
Requirements:
1. 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience.
2. Proficiency in Xero and Excel (pivot tables, data analysis, and spreadsheet creation).
3. Experience with invoice management systems (e.g., Payhawk).
4. Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
5. Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
6. Trustworthy and able to work independently with a high level of initiative.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills.
