You will teach a range of humanities subjects such as history, geography, and religious education in a supportive and inclusive environment, tailoring lessons to students' diverse learning needs. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver humanities lessons that are engaging and cater to individual learning needs Teach a variety of humanities subjects (History, Geography, RE) to students with special educational needs Encourage critical thinking and global awareness while fostering a safe and inclusive classroom environment Collaborate with Learning Mentors to provide personalised support and ensure student progress Assist students in achieving their GCSEs and help them develop essential skills for future life and further education Key Requirements: PGCE and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) Experience teaching humanities subjects in secondary or SEND settings is preferred Strong communication and behaviour management skills Ability to create an inclusive and engaging environment for students to develop their understanding of humanities Resilience, adaptability, and a passion for teaching students with special educational needs Why Join Simply Education?
