With a proven development path that leads to accountancy qualifications, our apprenticeship lays the groundwork for a successful career in Finance. Our 3-year scheme is varied and designed to create well rounded Finance professionals, with a comprehensive understanding how the Finance function supports and influences business strategy. Over the scheme, you will be supported in acquiring a professional accounting qualification (CIMA), including on the job experience to obtain this qualification. Here are some of the things we'll teach you to do: Collaborate with Sales teams to judge the financial suitability of new business. Review, challenge and approve customer pricing and contracts. Help prepare accurate reports and performance analysis. Become a point of contact for any internal finance-related queries. Prepare ad-hoc reports and presentations. Act as an ambassador for Finance, promoting cross-functional collaboration and knowledge-sharing. How does our scheme work? Induction (Months 1-3) In the field experience, with our Sales, Distribution, and Operations teams to see the essence of our business. Fast rotations around front-line Finance colleagues, networking with critical Central teams. Dedicated time for the 'Graduate project' Rotations (12 Months) Annual placements across 3 defined pillars: - Commercial / Merchandising - Supply Chain - Central Finance / FP&A These placements will be tailored to you and your qualification. Regular reviews to support your professional development. This is what you'll need: A relevant undergraduate degree OR on track to achieve a 2:1 or better degree, in any subject. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and numerical proficiency. The ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A strong interest in pursuing a career in finance and working towards your CIMA qualification. Although we're offering a hybrid working contract, you will be expected to join us in our Ashford, Kent office several times a week, so you'll need to live within a commuting distance.
