We are currently seeking a committed and experienced Registered Care Home Manager with strong leadership and management skills. The ideal candidate will have a fantastic background in elderly and dementia care, along with a thorough understanding of CQC standards and regulations.
Located in Bury St Edmunds, this home is an attractive, medium-sized residential dementia home that allows residents to continue with an independent lifestyle within a comfortable and caring atmosphere. Situated in a quiet residential area, this modern home offers high-end, comfortable accommodations set within private, beautifully landscaped gardens.
Key Requirements for Care Home Manager Role:
1. 2+ years of managerial experience within an Elderly Care Home setting
2. Good understanding of CQC regulations and requirements, safeguarding, and care plans
3. NVQ level 5 or equivalent
4. CQC Registered
Brief Job Responsibilities for Care Home Manager Role:
1. Ensuring the very best person-centred care service is provided to our residents while promoting their interests and understanding their needs
2. Effectively managing staff, providing guidance and ongoing supervision and support, recruiting and onboarding new staff, and continually developing and encouraging your team
3. Preparing monthly reports for the Board of Directors and the Care Quality Commission
4. Good communication skills to liaise with residents' families, friends, local authorities, and other healthcare professionals
5. Ensuring the company's high standards are consistently maintained across the service
