Wiltshire Police is looking for a Facilities driver to join a dynamic and growing organisation. We are seeking a reliable and motivated person to join our team and support our daily operational needs within the Supplies department., Safely operate company vehicles for the transportation of goods, equipment, and personnel across multiple locations. Ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained cleaned and roadworthy. Assist with loading and unloading materials equipment and supplies as required. Ensure timely delivery and pick up of goods documents and equipment. Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and safety standards. Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage mileage and fuel. Report any vehicle issues or accidents immediately. To be able to maintain documentation to good accurate level. Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a driver preferable. Knowledge of local roads. Abilities to lift and carry items. Excellent communications and organisation skills. A proactive reliable and safety conscious attitude. Ability to work flexibly and alone. Basic knowledge in the use of technology including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. Use of trolleys and equipment. Manual handling course will be provided. Full time, 37 hours per week Monday-Friday. No weekend working. Various training modules will be provided.
