ARB Underground is seeking an Equipment Coordinator for its Bloomington, CA location.
Position Overview: The Equipment Coordinator is responsible for managing the assignment, sourcing, and logistics of the organization's vehicles and equipment. This role ensures that all processes are followed and that equipment management systems are updated in a timely and accurate manner. The Equipment Coordinator should be well-versed in various field operations concepts, practices, and procedures. This position involves analyzing life cycle and utilization rates, making recommendations on the replacement, addition, or sale of assets as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Process Equipment Orders: Manage the entire lifecycle of equipment orders, ensuring all necessary documentation and approvals are obtained.
* Fleet Asset Utilization: Monitor and maintain the utilization of owned fleet assets for optimal performance.
* Equipment Sourcing: Identify and source equipment from rental vendors as needed.
* Field Operations Support: Collaborate with Field Operations to understand project needs and provide effective equipment solutions.
* Data Management: Ensure that all data systems are updated promptly and accurately.
* Logistics Coordination: Coordinate the logistics of equipment delivery and retrieval.
* Compliance and Safety: Ensure all fleet operations comply with company policies and safety regulations.
* Vendor Relations: Maintain strong relationships with equipment rental vendors.
* Acquisition and Divestiture: Follow procedures for the acquisition and divestiture of fleet assets.
* Budget Management: Assist in managing the fleet department budget.
* Training and Development: Provide training and support to field personnel on equipment usage and safety protocols.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* At least 5 years’ experience in fleet and equipment operations, preferably in the equipment rental industry.
* Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
* Proven ability to multi-task.
* Strategic thinking to meet operational needs.
* Sound knowledge of software such as Access, Excel, Viewpoint, P-Vault.
Compensation: $75-$80K Yr. (DOE)
