Team Administrator Hourly Rate: £13.93 Location: Wandsworth, London Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday We are seeking a dedicated Team Administrator to provide a high-quality Direct Payments purchasing, monitoring, and advice service within the Adults Services. This role ensures the responsible use of public funds and supports individuals effectively. Day-to-day of the role: Input data into the social care information system Mosaic, ensuring timely and accurate recording of Direct Payment services. Set up individuals for payment, ensuring they are paid promptly and accurately. Update information sources and prices on systems, making appropriate amendments to funding. Provide project support for Direct Payment systems and processes. Scrutinise information from individuals to request new creditors for Direct Payments on both Integra and Mosaic. Process regular payment cycles accurately to ensure individuals have the funding required to purchase their assessed support. Manage a caseload to carry out monitoring of Direct Payment prepaid accounts, auditing bank statements, and investigating queries. Analyse bank statements to evaluate the risk level of individuals managing their own direct payment and identify any safeguarding issues. Initiate debt recovery work where Client Contribution payments remain outstanding and negotiate repayment terms with individuals. Maintain up-to-date knowledge and best practices in relation to all aspects of Direct Payments processes. Promote the uptake of Direct Payment by running regular training and induction courses for colleagues in Adult Social Services. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience in monitoring and data entry. Familiarity with social care information systems, preferably Mosaic. Understanding of processes and legal compliance in a social care context. Basic understanding of employment law including tax, national insurance, and pension requirements. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
