The Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Channel Partner Manager to join our fast-growing Software and SaaS company. As a Channel Partner Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining partnerships with key stakeholders to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence.
With a background in Account Management or Channel Sales in the software arena, you will be joining our team of highly skilled Partner Managers in promoting and selling a range of software solutions through accredited business partners. The role has a key focus, to work within our channel partners to find and qualify opportunities that will grow revenue for both Draycir and the partner. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual who thrives in a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Responsibilities
* Be able to understand technology and be confident in displaying, discussing and demonstrating software.
* Be confident speaking to director level contacts, but also to technical consultants using and installing our software.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners, including resellers and strategic alliances.
* Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners to expand our network and increase revenue opportunities.
* Collaborate with partners to develop joint business plans and sales strategies aimed at achieving mutual growth objectives.
* Provide training, resources, and ongoing support to channel partners to ensure their success in selling our products.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development and operations, to align partner activities with overall company objectives.
* Monitor and report on partner performance, sales targets, and revenue goals, conducting regular business reviews.
* Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities.
It’s not just knowing the technical details of what we are selling, you must understand the bigger picture too and always have your objectives in mind. You have to understand the whole environment, all the different accounting software vendors we work with. You will need to learn and understand what they are about, who they are, and what’s important to them.
Day to day activities…
* Demonstrating our solutions to our business partners and their customers, using solution selling to identifying pain points and positioning the value and benefits of our proposition to solve customer problems.
* Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis by implementing effective strategies and activities.
* Develop a robust pipeline of potential opportunities, actively manage each opportunity through the sales cycle, and successfully close deals.
* Create comprehensive and customised partner development plans that identify growth opportunities, target specific market segments, and outline actionable steps for achieving success.
* Plan, organise, and host engaging and informative customer webinars to educate and promote Draycir solutions via our business partners.
* Travel for face-to-face meetings with partners and their customers as needed.
* Proactively share updates on new products, features, and enhancements with partners, trained to effectively communicate the value and benefits of these additions.
* Conduct comprehensive sales training sessions for partners, focusing on highlighting the unique advantages and benefits of Draycir solutions to support their successful selling efforts.
* Identify cross-selling opportunities to existing users, leveraging relationships and understanding of their specific needs and pain points.
* Foster and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with partners across various job functions, including sales, marketing, project management and customer support.
* Offer exceptional customer service support to partners, ensuring their needs are addressed promptly and effectively to enhance overall satisfaction and loyalty.
What we are looking for…
* 4+ year B2B sales experience
* SaaS or software solutions Account Management experience
* Understanding of channel sales, even if you have not worked in it directly.
* Presentation and product demonstration experience either via webinar or face to face.
* Self-starter with the flexibility to lead, manage or contribute to changing market and sales needs with tactics that respond well to partner needs.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets and KPI set.
* Team player - able to communicate and work together with teams at various levels and within a collaborative sales environment.
* Articulate with excellent communication skills with an understanding of solution selling.

* Competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
