So what do we look for from you?
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to provide a comprehensive facilities management service to support the Company’s operational and strategic requirements.
Responsibilities
* Act as a project manager across TrustFord’s property portfolio, to deliver projects on time and to budget (cross team approach)
* Ensure projects are contract managed appropriately drawing on TrustFord’s risk appetite
* Support the preparation of annual work plans, budgeting and ensure income is maximised
* As a project manager provide comprehensive coverage across procurement, appraisal, implementation and delivery using sound methodologies
* Support the development of stock condition surveys across the portfolio working with other colleagues
* Implement procedures relating to the safe and secure operations of all sites, staff and customers
* Work with various teams, stakeholders and third party contractors in an effective, efficient and economic manner
This is a National role; however, the successful candidate will be required to work from our Head Office in Colchester at least one day per week.
Required skills and experience
* Effective leadership skills with strong clarity of communications and negotiation skills
* Strong organisational skills with a focus on objectives while taking a pragmatic approach
* Ability to work in a team and remotely
* Strong customer service skills that strive to provide excellence in all that is provided
* Flexible communication skills (both written and presentation)
* Accurate decision making based on analysis and judgement
* Ability to understand projects and their risks at a strategic and operational level
* Experience managing large scale and/or complex property portfolio over a number of years
* Five years’ experience in project and contractual management (evidence of high value/complex schemes preferable)
* Membership of appropriate professional body such as CIOB, RICS etc.
* Educated to degree level or equivalent
* Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and other statutory services
* Proficient usage of Microsoft Office, e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook (and other packages)
* Full valid driving licence held for a minimum of 6 months with fewer than 6 penalty points – 4 years must have passed since reinstatement following any previous disqualifications
* Evidence of ‘Right to Work in the UK’
