Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging Psychology lessons for KS4 and KS5 students, covering key areas such as cognitive psychology, social psychology, and developmental psychology within the Psychology curriculum. Develop a Psychology curriculum that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and a deep understanding of psychological principles. Regularly assess student progress in Psychology, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development. Create an inclusive classroom environment where students are motivated to excel and engage with the subject of Psychology. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and contribute to the success of the Psychology department. Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Psychology or a related subject. A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). Proven experience teaching Psychology at KS4 and KS5. Strong communication skills and the ability to make complex psychological concepts accessible and engaging for students.
