As a Game Frontend (UI) Artist you'll create engaging user interfaces for our games. You'll design and implement UI elements like menus, HUDs, and icons that are both visually appealing and user-friendly. Working with designers and other artists, you'll ensure the UI fits the game's style and enhances player experience. You should have strong graphic design skills, experience with design software, and knowledge of game UI/UX principles.
Key job responsibilities
1. Design and create visually appealing UI elements (menus, HUDs, icons) for games
2. Implement UI designs in game engines, ensuring functionality and consistency
3. Collaborate with game designers and UX specialists to enhance player experience
4. Establish and maintain UI design standards for game projects
5. Mentor junior UI artists and contribute to team skill development
6. Iterate on designs based on player feedback and usability testing results
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Knowledge of and proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, and InDesign
2. Have an available online portfolio
3. Experience in gaming industry
4. Proven experience with icons, menus, mockups and wireframes creation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
2. Experience in delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer
