Dermatology Specialist Nurse, Band 7/Trainee, Annex 21 Para 2 (i)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse to join the Dermatology Specialist Nursing team in NHS Tayside. You will be involved in the delivery of a variety of Nurse-led services and in-patient Dermatology Care.
We are looking for an individual to work as part of the Specialist nursing team based in Ninewells Hospital, although you will be expected to work across more than one site. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required, as is the ability to demonstrate leadership qualities and evidence of continuous professional development.
Candidates requiring further education will be supported and practice supervised to develop their competence and confidence to fulfil the duties of a Specialist Nurse across the four pillars of practice for advanced practice. It is an expectation that as a trainee you will successfully achieve the required qualifications within the first 18 to 24 months of appointment.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register.
Hours of work: 30 hours or 24 hours, Monday - Sunday.
