This is an exciting opportunity to become a proud creator of modern luxury. By joining the Prototype Engineering Stores Team at JLR Lyons Park site in Coventry. The role involves working together in a team, in a warehouse environment with the ultimate goal of a smooth transition of parts kitted from stores to build halls on the site.
Please note that this role will require an in date FLT license
Rates of Pay - Day shift pay rates are from £14.62 per hour or £17.25 for a 2+ shift
Shift Patterns - 39 hours a week - shift patterns may vary between day shift and 2 shift rotating
*Potential shift work and overtime during busy periods - notice will be given.

Here's what you will be doing:
Working as a part of a team, supporting each other to achieve store goals.
Supporting the prototype production line of modern luxury cars - specifically prototype battery build.
Following existing processes and promoting new ideas
Storage, Picking, Kitting and validating of parts prior to release for the build team.
Basic data entry into the stock control system.
Material Handling - (inc. Reach / CB FLT)
Adhere to JLR policies and procedures.

Requirements - Essential
FLT - reach & c/b.
Ability to repeatedly follow a set sequence of work steps that you might know as standard operating procedures, or standardised work.
Good attention to detail
Ability and willingness to learn.
Health and Safety conscious mindset.
Must be available to work overtime as and when required.
Requirements - Desirable
Previous experience of working in a busy warehouse environment.
Knowledge of continuous improvement.
Competent using computers and digital technology.
