Essential Experience Required:
1. A minimum of or working towards a Diploma in Packaging Technology.
2. Prior work experience (or qualifications) in a fast-paced Engineering/Manufacturing environment is advantageous.
3. An established report writer.
4. A sound understanding of problem-solving techniques.

Job Role & Responsibilities Include:
Overview:
Lead and drive change within the business focusing on productivity within the packing process for existing and new business. Evaluate product quality through quantitative and qualitative data analysis to ensure products and processes are consistently produced within their quality critical attributes. Support with the introduction of new products and processes. Identify opportunities to execute projects and plans for improvement of processes and products.
Scope of the Role:
1. Troubleshoot and resolve packaging issues associated with packaging component quality, packaging equipment, and packaging line efficiency.
2. Develop cost-saving initiatives and troubleshoot packaging problems.
3. Work closely with other functional areas to help deliver New Product Introduction and new process introduction.
4. Liaise with suppliers for non-conformance resolution and improvement activity.
5. Manage packaging related CAPAs or Quality events.
6. Define cost-effective palletization.
7. Conduct trials to approve new components through appropriate trial control documentation.
