Job Description Job Title : Solicitor - Conveyancing (4 Years PQE) Location : Luton Salary : £45,000 - £65,000, DOE Job Type : Full-Time, Permanent About the Role: We are assisting a growing law firm in Luton in their search for an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to join their team. If you have at least 4 years of PQE in conveyancing and are looking to make a real impact in a busy, client-focused environment, this is an excellent opportunity for you. The successful candidate will manage a wide variety of conveyancing matters, provide high-quality legal advice, and support in the growth of the conveyancing department. Key Responsibilities: Client Portfolio Development : Expand the client portfolio using effective marketing skills, social media, and networking opportunities, including internal cross referrals. Client Work & Case Management : Handle property sales, purchases, leases, shared ownership, and probate sales. Provide advice in writing, over the phone, and during meetings, ensuring accurate records and notes are maintained. Land Registry and Searches : Complete all appropriate searches and oversee Land Registry submissions. Compliance & CQS : Adhere to compliance policies and procedures, working in line with CQS requirements. Client Management : Effectively manage client expectations and ensure high-quality service throughout transactions. Risk & File Management : Manage risks and ensure efficient case and file management. New Enquiries : Handle new client enquiries, ensuring prompt and professional responses. Team Support & CPD : Support the development of other team members, and participate in continuous professional development activities. Marketing & Networking : Participate in marketing initiatives, including the delivery of webinars and podcasts. Attend charity and networking events to represent the firm. We Are Looking for Someone Who Has: Experience : Ideally 4 years of PQE in conveyancing with a strong understanding of the requirements of Lexcel and CQS. High Standards : Takes personal pride in the quality of work, ensuring all matters are dealt with to a high standard. Client Management Skills : Strong ability to manage client expectations and deliver a high level of client care. Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders. IT Proficiency : Familiarity with case management systems, MS Word, Outlook, and Excel. Self-Motivated : Ability to meet targets, work efficiently, and take initiative while balancing multiple priorities. Collaborative Attitude : Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with colleagues across different levels.
