About the Role:
As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and mentoring other team members. Working within a therapeutic solo setting, you will support a child or young person with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), helping them develop life skills and achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Direct Support & Care:
o Provide 1:1 support to a young person with EBD and trauma-related needs.
o Implement individual care plans and behaviour strategies.
o Create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.
2. Mentoring & Teamwork:
o Act as a role model and support less experienced staff members.
o Work closely with the Registered Manager and therapeutic team to ensure the best care approaches.
3. Safeguarding & Compliance:
o Maintain Ofsted standards and ensure safeguarding procedures are strictly followed.
o Keep up-to-date records and contribute to ongoing care reviews.
4. Personal Development & Career Growth:
o Genuine opportunity to progress into Deputy Manager and Registered Manager roles.

Requirements:
* Experience working in a residential childcare or EBD setting.
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it).
* Passion for supporting children and young people with complex needs.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
