Job Description:
Salary: Starting £230 per week with clear progression through apprenticeship to £330 per week at qualification.
Specific Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm - 35 hours per week.
Location: Head Office - Bromsgrove.
Contract Type: Fixed Term 18 months.
Course Information: Information Communications Technician Level 3 - You will be allocated the time required during the working week to attend learning that supports your apprenticeship course.

Due to the growth of our services across the Polaris group, we are delighted to be recruiting for an enthusiastic IT Apprentice to join our vibrant team at our Head Office based in Bromsgrove.
Your role as an IT Apprentice will include:
* Maintain and administer 1st and 2nd line telephone support service desk.
* Manage the IT assets (laptops, desktops, mobile phones, printers, etc.).
* The completion of long-term/short-term projects, ongoing daily tasks, quality control checks, implementing hardware handling processes.
* Monitor and manage the call queue, tickets, and email queue.
* Monitor and action or delegate any urgent IT asset requests.
* Ensure new starter and leavers are processed correctly and on time.
* Identify priority cases or jobs and action promptly.
* Investigate, troubleshoot, and fix any incidents assigned to you, or escalate them to the relevant teams where required.
What you'll need:
* Passionate about IT and keen to learn.
* Sound administration skills.
* GCSE/equivalent in Maths and English - This can be completed alongside your qualification if not already obtained.
* Ability to manage own workload and work independently.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* A sound understanding of IT systems and electronic communications including Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, and Outlook).
* Passionate about problem solving and attention to detail.
* Analytical and methodical in thinking.
