Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: To cover the control room/multi shuttle facilities within the Trafford Distribution Centre (TDC) and proactively manage the MHE to eradicate major down time within the warehouse, whilst helping to improve efficiencies and productivity. Key Responsibilities: Co-ordinated control of system parameters and MHE settings Monitor productivity levels and operational reports Communicate breakdowns to engineers Alert Section Leaders of any blockages Climb Ladders to assist with conveyer blockages Communicate daily and report any issues to all functional departments within the TDC General overview of operation Weekly and Monthly data reporting, updated and shared with management Work closely with onsite engineering team Key Relationships: Coordinators Section Leaders Ops Support Dematic Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Action oriented Drive for results Excellent communication skills Functional technical knowledge Detailed WCS/WM knowledge Good Microsoft Office skills including Excel & Word. Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: Experience in warehousing and distribution within a FMCG company.
