Enforcement Officer required to work with Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, working in Newry. Initially this role will be temporary for 3 months with the possibility of an extension based on performance. The role will be full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am until 5pm with the hourly rate of £16.83. The successful candidate will cover a dog warden role and therefore experience is required within this area of work. E.g. Dealing with animals, enforcement and dealing with difficult situations. The main tasks will include issuing of notices and warnings, investigating complaints and making recommendations in reports to the Enforcement Manager, researching and reviewing policies in relation to existing enforcement activities.
