Sewell Wallis are working with a rapidly growing and highly diverse business based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, who are looking to recruit a Group Accountant.\n\nThis newly created Group Accountant role will support the Financial Controller with all technical finance queries across the business. You will be joining a highly acquisitive, fast paced company, who offer exceptional career progression and a role that will give you exposure to the senior leadership team.\n\nPlease note that regular travel to the head office based in Harrogate will be required. \n\n What will you be doing?\n\nAs the Group Accountant, you will provide day-to-day technical support across the Group\nPlay a key role in acquisition accounting and supporting to integrate divisional companies into the Group\nDevelop and implement accounting processes and controls across the finance function\nProduce the statutory accounts for all Group entities\nPerform full monthly balance sheet reviews\nSupport external audit and respond to audit queries\nProduce the monthly consolidation and Board Pack\nSupport with ad hoc projects as and when required What skills are we looking for?\n\nACA/ACCA qualified, having trained in a recognisable accountancy firm\nExperience working within a fast-paced environment\nStrong knowledge of UKGAAP\nA proactive worker who uses their own initiative What's on offer?\n\nEnhanced maternity/paternity/adoption leave\nPrivate medical\nHybrid and flexible working patterns\nCentral location next to the train station\nFantastic training and career progression on offer Send us your CV below or contact Lucy Regan for more information.\n\nTo apply please send your CV, quoting our reference and specifying which website you saw this position advertised on.
