We are now looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our network and support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). About the Role: Are you passionate about making a real difference in children's lives? We are looking for enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support children aged 4 to 10 with SEND needs. These are rewarding roles where you’ll have the opportunity to provide direct support to children, helping them succeed and reach their potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment. What You’ll Do: Offer one-to-one and small group support to children with diverse SEND needs – from autism and ADHD to dyslexia and physical disabilities. Work alongside educators to implement customized learning plans designed to help every child reach their full potential. Create an engaging, positive learning atmosphere where students can shine both in and out of the classroom. Support children with personal care when necessary – with empathy and respect. Be a part of their journey, tracking progress and collaborating with teachers and parents to ensure continuous success. Build strong, meaningful relationships with students, helping them feel valued, empowered, and motivated to succeed. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience working with children or adults with SEND needs, ideally in an educational or home environment. A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development, with the ability to adapt to their individual needs. Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to overcoming challenges. Strong communication skills to work effectively with teachers, parents, and children. A flexible, proactive, and team-oriented mindset. Relevant qualifications, such as a Teaching Assistant qualification or SEND training, are a plus but not essential. Who You Are: A champion for SEND individuals, with experience working with children or adults in similar roles, or an eagerness to jump in and make a difference. Passionate, patient, and persistent – you know how to motivate, encourage, and guide children through challenges. A team player, with great communication skills, able to collaborate seamlessly with teachers, parents, and fellow professionals. Flexible, adaptable, and resourceful – you think on your feet and find creative solutions to support your students.
