We are currently working alongside a Special School in the Wakefield area who are looking to appoint a SEMH Teacher, to teach most lessons in a Primary style model, as well as leading pastoral support.
The ideal candidates will have experience Teaching within Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH).
The school caters for pupils aged between 11 to 16 with an Education, Health and Care Plan for Severe Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH), this role would be specifically working with Year 7.
Their aim is to prepare every pupil for a positive future, developing a pupil’s academic, social and emotional skills.
Staff work closely together as a team and support pupils to achieve as much as possible from a wide range of starting points, ensuring that all pupils make good progress.

You will be well supported by a strong leadership team who have a clear vision for the future of the school.
Requirements
Experience working within a similar setting previously.
Team Teach qualified or be willing to attend a course
Hold a degree in any subject/QTS
2x references
An enhanced valid DBS
