An opportunity has arisen for two Band 4 Multi Profession Rehab Assistants to join the AHP Enhanced Rehabilitation Team. We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to join our team on a permanent contract.
The post holders will provide practical support to registered Advanced Clinical Practitioners to facilitate the provision of rehabilitation focused practice. The roles are community based and will work in close association with existing community teams, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of clinical, technical and administrative staff.
This is a new service and is in a process of development. The initial base is likely to be in Holyhead but may change as the service develops.
Main duties of the job
The key objectives of the post are:
* To support the Therapists in the assessment, organisation, implementation, and evaluation of therapy and multi-disciplinary team interventions.
* You will have a strong commitment to working with people in a caring and rehabilitative way excellent organizational and time management skills and be competent using IT.
* You will work well within a team and also be confident and competent to work autonomously.
* Assist clients before, during and following review ensuring their safety, comfort, privacy and dignity.
* The team has a strong commitment to CPD and service development and you will be well supported as the role develops.
* To be clinically competent to adapt and amend treatment plans through basic assessment of need.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualification
* NVQ level 3 BTEC or equivalent or relevant experience plus additional training and / or experience in relevant speciality.
Experience
* Relevant experience of working in a caring environment with people with complex physical, cognitive and behavioural problems

* Commitment, enthusiasm and flexible approach. Excellent communication and team work skills.
